Our rabbits did fairly well at the rabbit show at the Greene County Fair Tuesday. We showed eleven rabbits this year, one Black Sr. Doe, Broken Sr. Doe, Red Sr. Buck, Red Sr. Doe, two White Jr. Does, White Jr. Buck, two White Sr. Does, and a white Sr. Buck. We got best black, best broken, first place Red Sr. Doe, Second Place Red Sr. Buck, Third and second place White Jr. Doe, and a third place in showmanship with a score of 97/100. We showed our pet English Spot Chocolate Jr. Buck also, he was second place Chocolate Jr. Buck. We all feel we could have done better this year at the fair, but we will do better next year. Our hard work will pay off. We bred a Red doe to a white buck last week, and we are breeding a broken red doe to a red buck this week, next week we will breed our black doe and our white doe. Hoping to get a barn full of B.O.V material rabbits. I am so overjoyed that we have two Red kits and a Broken Red kit currently in the barn. I am so ready for the Fall show season. This is going to be great!
