Drying grasses:

It is about the time of the year, that you would start to buy hay for your animals. But, if you only have a few rabbits, you don't need a ton of hay. If you have a single rabbit, you know they need about 2 cups of greens a day. (unless active breeding rabbits). Once fall comes you can eaisly store hay for your rabbit.

What you need:

- Old onoin bags or pillow cases
- Your bunny's favorite grass

Drying the grass:

First you pick the grass for your rabbit -> make sure your rabbit has been there, try to pick grass where no other pets go to the bathroom.
As you are picking the grass collect it in the onion bag or pillow case.
For a single rabbit you should probably fill up a few onion bags.
Once all of the grass is picked to your liking, tie the bags shut and hang them in a tree for a couple of days. This helps them dry out, keep an eye on the grass to make sure no other animals get into them.

Once you are done drying out the grass, you can keep the grass in the onion bag, and store it in a cool, dry place.

Your bunny will enjoy having fresh hay to eat all winter long, plus it costed very little!
